The equipment put into use this time includes a full series of core products: CODcr Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor, Ammonia Nitrogen Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor, Total Phosphorus Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor, Total Nitrogen Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor, Iron Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor, Manganese Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor, as well as Online pH/ORP Meter, Online Dissolved Oxygen Meter, and Online Turbidity Meter. This establishes a comprehensive monitoring system covering key indicators such as COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, iron, manganese, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity, providing accurate and efficient data support for the water environment management of the mining area.

As a key local industrial project, the open-pit mine in Hulunbuir generates wastewater with complex composition during its production process, containing various pollutants. Improper treatment could potentially impact the surrounding grassland ecosystem. In response to national ecological and environmental protection policies and to meet the requirements for green mining development, the mining area conducted strict screening and technical feasibility studies before ultimately choosing to cooperate with Chunye Technology. Combining the characteristics of the mine's wastewater quality, on-site conditions, and environmental monitoring requirements, Chunye Technology tailored an integrated solution encompassing "equipment deployment + installation and commissioning + operation and maintenance training" to ensure the stable operation of the monitoring system and the accuracy and reliability of the data.

During the installation process, Chunye Technology's technical team strictly followed the standard procedures outlined in the equipment operation manuals, efficiently advancing various tasks. The monitoring substation room was sited close to the wastewater discharge outlet, with the distance to the sampling point controlled within 50 meters, effectively reducing analysis delay. The station room covers an area of over 15m², with a level, corrosion-resistant floor raised 300mm above the sampling port to prevent pipeline water accumulation and freezing issues in winter. During the equipment installation phase, technicians accurately positioned the various monitors, ensuring an operational space of ≥600mm on the left and right sides and ≥1000mm at the front. Simultaneously, electrical connections and pipeline layouts were completed according to electrical specifications, using corrosion-resistant PVC pipes to guarantee long-term stable operation of the system.

The water quality monitoring equipment from Chunye Technology deployed this time all possess industry-leading technical performance. The CODcr monitor employs the potassium dichromate oxidation spectrophotometric method, with a measurement range covering 0-10,000 mg/L and capable of masking chloride ion interference below 20,000 mg/L. The ammonia nitrogen monitor achieves precise measurement within a 0-300 mg/L range using the salicylic acid spectrophotometric method, with a 24-hour low concentration drift of ≤0.02 mg/L. The detection limit of the Iron Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor is as low as 0.02 mg/L, and the resolution of the Manganese Online Automatic Water Quality Monitor reaches 0.001 mg/L, enabling accurate detection of pollutant concentration changes. Additionally, the online pH/ORP meter supports a wide measurement range of -2 to 16.00 pH, the online dissolved oxygen meter responds rapidly, and the online turbidity meter has a broad measurement range of 0.001 to 9999 NTU, comprehensively covering the mine's wastewater monitoring needs. All equipment supports the RS485 MODBUS RTU communication protocol and the HJ212-2017 protocol, enabling real-time data upload and remote management, significantly enhancing the efficiency of water environment management in the mining area.

After the installation, the technical team conducted comprehensive commissioning, calibration, and operational training for the equipment. Through a series of processes including zero-point calibration and standard sample verification, they ensured that equipment measurement errors complied with relevant national standards. They also provided detailed explanations to the mine staff on key aspects such as instrument touchscreen operation, reagent replacement, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, emphasizing the safety specifications for chemical reagent use and waste liquid disposal requirements. On-site testing confirmed that all equipment operates stably, and the monitoring data is accurate and reliable, fully meeting the dual requirements of process monitoring for mine wastewater treatment and compliance monitoring for discharge.
