As temperatures rise during the Dragon Boat Festival midsummer, aquaculture enters a critical period for water quality management. Shanghai Chunye Instrument Technology Co., Ltd. has completed the installation and commissioning of an integrated automatic water quality monitoring station and a full set of supporting equipment. The entire intelligent monitoring system has been officially put into operation at a large-scale aquaculture pond in Changzhou, safeguarding aquaculture water safety through digital technology.

Traditional manual sampling suffers from low efficiency and data lag, making it difficult to achieve roundtheclock monitoring and control. This project is centered around the integrated automatic water quality monitoring station, which integrates all modules including water sampling, pretreatment, analysis, automatic control, and data transmission. Equipped with a buoytype water intake device that can adapt to water level changes, it ensures high representativeness of water samples. The system supports various monitoring modes—hourly, intervalbased, and emergency—and comes with automatic cleaning, algae removal, fault diagnosis, and overlimit alarm functions. It is compatible with mainstream communication protocols such as Modbus RTU and HJ212, and supports both wired and wireless transmission, enabling remote management and resumeafterinterruption data transfer, making it ideal for longterm unattended outdoor operation.

The system is simultaneously equipped with multiple professional monitoring devices and sensors:

✅ Online Monitors: Including ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, and permanganate index online monitors that accurately quantify pollutant indicators in water, featuring strong corrosion resistance and stability;

✅ FiveParameter Online Monitor + Online pH Meter: Realtime monitoring of basic water quality parameters such as water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and conductivity;

✅ Sensors: Digital pH and suspended solids sensors that collect accurate data and adapt to complex water environments;

✅ Data Acquisition and Transmission Unit: Centrally aggregates, stores, and uploads monitoring data, ensuring full data traceability.

The entire system enables 7×24 fully automatic monitoring. Once water quality indicators exceed the limits, alarms are triggered immediately, alerting farmers to take timely actions such as water conditioning and aeration. The equipment features a long maintenance cycle, and pipelines and pumps are designed with freezeproof and antisiltation protection to suit outdoor pond conditions, significantly reducing labor costs.
